I provide virtual and telephone counselling for women (18+) residing in Ontario who are struggling with painful relationships, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, burnout, self-worth, trauma, and feeling disconnected from themselves.
I am a registered Social Worker (BSW) in Ontario with over 14 years of professional experience. I'm licensed under the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (#853255) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (#25026) in good standing. I continue to engage in ongoing trainings, workshops, and education to provide thoughtful, up-to date support.
Current rates are $165 per 50-minutes.
Payments can be made via credit card or e-transfer.
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule sessions to avoid a 50% cancellation fee. Occasional exceptions for emergencies and sudden crises may be waived as I understand life can be unpredictable.
Weekly or bi-weekly sessions are typically recommended in the beginning to maintain momentum and progress. However, we’ll tailor this to whatever works best for you.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what's been weighing on you. We'll explore what's bringing you to therapy, what support you're looking for, and what goals feel important to you. There's no pressure to share everything right away. The most important thing is you feel comfortable, supported, and understood.
My approach is warm, honest, down-to-earth, and practical.
This isn’t the kind of therapy where you sit across from someone silently nodding while using a bunch of clinical jargon. I believe therapy should feel human.
Together, we’ll look at the bigger picture—your relationships, emotions, stress, nervous system responses, thought patterns, boundaries, past experiences, and the environments that may be keeping you stuck.
The goal isn’t to “fix” you. It’s to help you better understand yourself, rebuild trust in yourself, and create meaningful changes that actually fit your real life.
Your privacy is very important to me. Everything shared during sessions is kept confidential and protected under the standards of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). The only exceptions are situations where there is a legal or ethical obligation to report concerns related to safety or risk of harm. If that situation ever arose, I would always discuss it openly and transparently with you whenever possible.
